Halloween Event Project

The Lions Club of Algonquin and Foundation are in the preliminary stage of developing this event.
The plan is to hold the event on:
Saturday, October 28, 2023 to start at 9:00 AM.

The success of these events is dependent on the participation of the Algonquin Area residents.
We are looking for input from the community to determine the type of event and level of participation.
Under Consideration are:
Costumed Children fun Run / Walk.
Costumed Pets are an option
For runners a 5K run, costumes optional
Shorter walk run for adults

Lions of Algonquin Eyeglass Recycling & Personal Electronics Recycling

The Lions Club of Algonquin collects Eyeglasses to Recycle
These donated used Eyglasses are refurbished and tested.
They are used to supply eyeglases to people in need of them
domestically and through out the world. Please donate your old glasses

The Lions Club of Algonquin also collects Used Cell Phones.
These collections generate revenue for the club and keep the
electronic components and batteries out of the landfills.
